Achiroe, or Ancirrhoe, is the wife of Belus, son of Poseidon and Libya, and the daughter of Chremetes, the river god. Her sister, Telephassa, was married to Belus' brother Agenor.
As wife of Belus, she reigned as Queen over Egypt and Libya. She bore her husband two children; the ever-feuding Danaus and Aegyptus.
