Mosaic of Krim Rosu, believed origin from the 1100s

The Eternal Man (also known as Moșul or Krim Roșu) is a figure in Romanian mythology; a man who is said to have lived for many thousand years, or even being as old as time itself. He is a mysterious and often benevolent character, seen as a symbol of wisdom and prosperity.

Eternal life is not unlike that in vampires, however, Krim is mostly seen as a good, or morally neutral character, seeking higher truths.

Similar figures are also found in Hungarian and Slavic traditions.
