Iði was a giant and son of Olvaldi in Norse mythology. His brothers were Gangr and Thiazi. His only niece was Skadi, Thiazi's daughter. When his father, who was very rich, died, the three brothers split up their enormous inheritance by claiming one mouthful of gold each.
