In Egyptian mythology, Ma'at represents the concept of truth, balance, order, law, morality, and justice. All gods were required to respect Ma'at. She was sometimes portrayed as the daughter of Ra and often the consort of Thoth. She was aboard the Solar Barge.
Maat is also personified as a goddess of order.
