|Title(s)||God of Battle|
Móði ("Brave"), anglicized as Modi is an Æsir. He is the son of the Norse thunder-god Thor. He is the god of battle, wrath and served as the patron for the berserkers of Norse legends. The berserkers looked to him prior to battle so as to successfully go into the trance which they entered in order to go into a craze, during which they would kill all in their way, friend or foe.
Little is known about Móði and his brothers apart from what happens in the Ragnarök.
In the stanza 51 of the Vafþrúðnismál, Móði and Magni become the owners of the mythical hammer Mjölnir.
In the Gylfaginning, in the chapter 53 we know that he survives to the Ragnarök and feasts with the other gods.
