The Phonoi (known in Greek as Φονοι, also known Φονος in Greek, translated to Phonos), were the daemons of murder, killing and slaughter.

The sisters of the Phonoi were the Androktasiai (Manslaughters), which were known to comit the slaughter in battle, while the Phonoi were responsible for the murder and killing outside of war. Ancient writers like Quintus Smyrnaeus do not differ the Phonoi from the Androktasiai.

The Phonoi were described as having a ghastly face, in Quintus Smyrnaeus, Fall of Troy - Greek Epic from C4th A.D .
