Rama

Rama is a character in the hindu epic Ramayana. He is the main character and is seen as an avatar of Vishnu. He is shown to face many hardships like being banished from the kingdom by his stepmother, losing his wife Sita to the Asura Ravan and finally saving her only to lose her again to Mother Earth. He kills Ravan and many of his kinsmen before retrieving Sita. He meets and befriends Hanuman who becomes his foremost disciple. He is shown to be a very humble, polite, respectful and virtuous man.
