Stribog is God of winds, known mostly among Eastern Slavs. All winds, no matter if they are from land or sea, small or strong are considered as His grandchildren. His kumir (statue) stood among those of Perun, Horoz and Mokosh in Kiev, Ukraine (at that time Kievan Rus).
He is represented as old, white-bearded man with large horn as His instrument of calling His grandchildren, while his animal was eagle.
There is a story that His grandchildren brought Marzanna at the end of year, as well and Vesna at the beginning of March.
