Heracles kills the Stymphalian Birds

The Stymphalian birds were the pets of Ares. They had metallic claws and sharp beaks. They roamed the swamps of Arcadia and preyed on large animals and sometimes humans. They were slain on the orders of King Eurystheus as part of Heracles' 6th labour.
